With heaviness on our hearts, we honor the lives of the 10 individuals who were victims of the TOPS attack. Through this time of tragedy we have seen neighbors come together to serve both the families of these individuals and the East Side Community. While TOPS remains under construction, Hearts and Hands is providing transportation to community members for food access and counseling services.
Faith partner Pastor Stephen Kulu of New Generations Ministries sees good overcoming evil. He encourages all of us with this statement. “Be contagious. Have something worth catching. Love, peace, compassion and unity are all worth catching!”
Many efforts are being made for the community. Within these efforts, eight of our partner churches that reside in Buffalo have stepped up to the plate in serving those in need. We would like to share their information with all of our partners so that you may have opportunity to connect and offer your supports during this time.
