Information for Current Volunteers

Thank you for being a Hearts and Hands volunteer! This page includes important information for you. Please take the time to review each of the pages below.

Elder Abuse - Because of your direct work with elderly, frail and disabled individuals Hearts and Hands believes that it is essential for you to know the signs of these different types of abuse and how to intervene and advocate on behalf of our care receivers. The information and video presented here are designed to help you understand more about elder abuse.

Sexual Harassment - Hearts and Hands Faith in Action (HHFIA) is committed to maintaining a workplace free from sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is a form of workplace discrimination. All employees and volunteers are required to work in a manner that prevents sexual harassment in the workplace.

Winter Driving Policy -  The winter months bring snow, ice and slippery roads to Western New York. Hearts and Hands wants to remind all of our volunteer drivers to be cautious while driving in adverse weather.
